Medical Front Office

Responsibilities:
  • Front desk operations.
  • Ensure smooth daily operations.
  • Greet and assist patients, visitors, and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Schedule patient appointments and maintain appointment calendars.
  • Answer phone calls, respond to inquiries, and provide information about the medical office.
  • Collect co-pays and/or account balance.
  • Maintain patient records and update information in the computer system.
  • Coordinate with medical staff to ensure efficient patient flow and timely service.
  • Handle patient complaints or concerns and escalate as necessary.

Experience:
  • Previous experience in a medical office or healthcare setting is preferred.
  • Proficiency in insurance and billing terminology and practices.
  • Familiarity with Practice Management end EHR systems.
  • Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations calmly and professionally.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
