Medical Receptionist

CRM's Orlando Avenue Surgery Center (OASC) is a state-of-the-art surgery center located in Winter Park, FL. OASC is a multi-specialty surgery center with a focus on women's health/GYN.

We have an immediate opening for a qualified Medical Receptionist to fill a full-time position. This is an exciting and challenging position with a surgery center that continues to grow.

Hours: Monday through Friday, 5:45am to 2:30pm.

Assignments Include

• Responsible for the daily coverage of reception area including greeting and registering patients and ensuring a smooth flow of operation and customer satisfaction
• Provide direction and instruction for the completion of patient documentation and all items needed by the surgery center for new and returning patients
• Obtain insurance information for new and returning patients for verification of benefits
• Collect and process patients’ payments and other patient financial activities as directed
• Manage the organization of patient charts, including entries into electronic medical charts and filing of physical charts
  
  

Education/Experience

• High School Diploma or GED, required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred
• At least one year of administrative and medical office experience required
• Experience with Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system strongly preferred
• Bilingual Spanish a plus!
• Excellent communications and computer skills; capable of multi-tasking and working in a fast-paced environment.
• Women's health experience a plus.
