Central Supply & Medical Records Clerk responsibilities Include:

As the Central Supply & Medical Records Clerk, your primary focus will be to ensure the smooth running of ordering and handling supplies for the nursing home facility and along with assuring the timely turnaround for all resident records.

Qualifications:

Central Supply experience preferred

Serious applicants

Previous LTC/SNF experience

Compassionate working with the geriatric population

Oversees the daily operations of the Medical Records Department

Abstracting, analyzing, auditing, and coding of all medical records in a timely manner.

Oversees the release of medical record information, archiving/storage of medical records, and the transcription/dictation processing.

Collects and analyzes data for quality improvement.

Completes quarterly performance improvement reports in a timely manner.

Suggests changes to Medical Record policies and procedures.

Functions as a member on assigned committees.

Works closely with nursing, social work, and finance to ensure PPS compliance and unit profitability.

Looks to become highly involved in areas outside specific job fun
