Duties

• Transcribe detailed physician-patient interactions in real-time during medical examinations and consultations
• Accurately document patient histories, physical exams, diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up instructions
• Navigate and utilize Electronic Medical Record (EMR) and Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems efficiently to input data seamlessly
• Assist in maintaining organized and complete medical records in compliance with privacy regulations
• Support physicians by preparing documentation for procedures, lab results, imaging reports, and referrals
• Review and verify medical documentation for accuracy and completeness before final submission
• Stay informed about medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and emergency procedures to ensure precise record-keeping

Skills

• Proficiency in transcription with excellent typing speed and accuracy
• Prior experience working in a medical office or clinical environment preferred
• Familiarity with EMR/EHR systems used in healthcare settings
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and emergency protocols
• Ability to understand and accurately document complex medical information quickly
• Experience with medical records management and maintaining confidentiality standards
• Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail in high-pressure situations
