Medical Scribe

We're looking for a pre-health candidate (medicine, nursing, PA) for a Medical Ophthalmology Practice in a Full Time or Part Time Role! This is a fantastic opportunity to grow one's experience and exposure to the medical field.

This person will work directly with a medical doctor and surgeon with decades of experience to take patient history and medical chart notes and interact directly with patients.

We are looking for a punctual, friendly, and hard working person to work in our front/back office. We see many patients Monday through Friday, and are looking for a great addition to our team!

Seeking bilingual Korean and English speaker. We will train the right candidate for the position, however, interest in the medical field is a plus! No relevant experience required but we need someone who is detail-oriented and friendly.

We ask that the employee stay for 1 year minimum in this role due to the time invested in training.

We are hiring ASAP for the position and will be holding interviews this and next week!

Scope of Responsibilities:

* Taking patient history
* Performing diagnostic testing including visual acuity
* Transcribing doctors notes
* Prepare patient for procedures
* Assist physician during procedures
* Greeting patients in a courteous and professional manner
* Answering phones
* Scheduling patients
* Make sure patients fully understand treatment instructions
* Screening patients and scribing for a doctor
* Counseling and scheduling surgeries
* And More!

Job Requirements:
* Fluent in English and Korean
* Equivalent to high school diploma or General Education Degree or related training; college degree desired
* Excellent Verbal and Written Communication
* Excellent Organizational and Interpersonal Skills
* Quick Learner
* Able to start immediately or within the next few weeks!

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
