Duties

• Transcribe detailed clinical notes during patient visits, ensuring accuracy and completeness of medical documentation
• Assist physicians by preparing and updating electronic medical records (EMR) and EHR systems efficiently
• Capture relevant patient history, symptoms, diagnoses, treatment plans, and follow-up instructions with precision
• Support the medical team by verifying and organizing medical records, test results, and other pertinent documentation
• Maintain confidentiality and security of all patient information in compliance with healthcare regulations
• Collaborate with healthcare providers to ensure timely and accurate record-keeping during busy clinical hours
• Utilize physiology and anatomy knowledge to accurately document complex medical procedures and observations

Requirements

• Proven experience in medical office settings or as a Medical Scribe preferred
• Strong transcription skills with the ability to type quickly and accurately under pressure
• Familiarity with EMR (Electronic Medical Records) and EHR (Electronic Health Records) systems
• Solid understanding of medical terminology, physiology, and human anatomy
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in documenting complex medical information
• Prior emergency room experience is a plus, demonstrating ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality
