Medical/dental office manager

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Medical/Dental Office Manager to lead the daily operations of our healthcare facility. Duties

  • Oversee daily clinic operations, ensuring efficient patient flow and adherence to clinical protocols
  • Supervise administrative staff, including scheduling, training, and performance evaluations
  • Manage fiscal responsibilities such as budgeting, billing, coding, and financial reporting using systems like Eaglesoft, Dentrix, eClinicalWorks, or Epic
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure confidentiality of medical records and patient information
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers to optimize medical management and administrative support functions
  • Oversee medical records management, including documentation accuracy and proper EHR (Electronic Health Record) system utilization
  • Monitor clinic supplies, equipment maintenance, and vendor relationships to ensure operational readiness
  • Implement policies aligned with JCAHO standards and managed care requirements to uphold quality assurance

Requirements

  • Proven experience in medical or dental office management with strong knowledge of healthcare operations and office management principles
  • Demonstrated supervisory experience leading administrative or clinical teams in a healthcare setting
  • Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems such as Eaglesoft, Dentrix, Epic, or eClinicalWorks; familiarity with hospital or acute care systems is a plus
  • Solid understanding of medical terminology, medical records management, HIPAA compliance, and utilization management processes
  • Experience with fiscal management including budgeting, financial reporting, billing procedures, and managed care contracting
  • Knowledge of medical office administrative support functions like appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and patient communication
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
  • Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with healthcare providers and staff members
