Job Summary:

We are looking for a compassionate and skilled Mental Health Nurse to join our healthcare team in Nauru. The successful candidate will provide high-quality mental health care, support patients with psychiatric conditions, and work closely with a multidisciplinary team to promote patient well-being and recovery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess, plan, and deliver mental health nursing care
• Monitor and support patients with mental health conditions
• Administer medications and observe patient responses
• Provide counseling, education, and emotional support to patients and families
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records
• Collaborate with doctors, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals
• Respond effectively to mental health crises and emergencies
• Ensure compliance with healthcare standards and policies

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse qualification with Mental Health/Psychiatric specialization
• Valid nursing license (home country/DHA) or eligibility for registration
• Minimum 5 to 7 years of experience in mental health nursing
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to relocate and work in Nauru
