Purpose:
The MEP Assistant Manager is responsible for reviewing and coordinating MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) design activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, and supporting the full project lifecycle from initial design reviews to construction follow-up.
Job Responsibilities:

Review and evaluate MEP design drawings, details, and specifications for plumbing, HVAC, piping systems, and infrastructure networks.

Analyze and verify BOQs and cost estimates for MEP systems to ensure accuracy and feasibility.

Support the preparation and follow-up of tender documents, including drawings, calculations, technical specifications, and BOQs.

Provide technical input and design recommendations to improve MEP engineering quality and efficiency.

Identify and validate design issues, proposing practical and cost-effective solutions.

Monitor and track interface agreements throughout the project, reporting updates and resolving conflicts as needed.

Assist in reviewing and finalizing the overall project schedule, monitoring project progress, and ensuring timely completion of MEP deliverables.

Participate in site visits to follow up on construction activities and ensure MEP works are executed as per design and standards.
Job Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.

8 to 10 years of professional experience in MEP design and construction.

Background in consultant offices and design is highly preferred.

Strong understanding of mechanical systems including HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, and infrastructure networks.

Proficient in technical review of drawings, BOQs, and tender documentation.

Excellent organizational, communication, and coordination skills.

Fluent in English (written and spoken).

Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit MEP, and MS Office; knowledge of project management software is a plus.
