Job Description

We are seeking an experienced MEP Coordinator to join our construction project team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works to ensure smooth execution, quality compliance, and timely project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate MEP activities with civil, architectural, and structural teams
• Review MEP drawings, shop drawings, and technical submittals
• Identify and resolve clashes between MEP services using coordination drawings
• Monitor site installation to ensure compliance with approved drawings and specifications
• Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and project managers
• Ensure work is executed as per project schedule and quality standards
• Attend coordination and progress meetings
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover activities

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related engineering field
• Proven experience as an MEP Coordinator in the construction industry
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, and Firefighting systems
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings
• Familiarity with AutoCAD / BIM (preferred)
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Preferred Skills

• Experience on large-scale commercial or residential projects
• Knowledge of local building codes and standards
• BIM coordination experience is an advantage
