Key Responsibilities:
- MEP Integration & Coordination: Review, coordinate, and integrate all MEP shop drawings with structural/architectural layouts to resolve design clashes prior to site execution.
- Site Execution & Supervision: Monitor daily on-site MEP installations to ensure execution strictly aligns with approved drawings, project specifications, and local authority standards (DEWA/AADC/Municipality).
- Subcontractor Management: Drive and supervise specialized MEP subcontractors, ensuring their manpower, progress, and material submittals match project schedules.
- Inspection & Quality Control: Coordinate site inspections (WIRs/MIRs) with the Consultant and local utility authorities, managing prompt sign-offs and closure of NCRs.
- Testing & Commissioning: Lead and oversee the testing, commissioning, and handing over of all MEP systems to the Client/Consultant.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience as an MEP Coordinator/Engineer with reputable main contractors.
- Proven track record of managing MEP integration in commercial/residential buildings, educational facilities, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong knowledge of local utility codes, authority approval processes, and BIM/Navisworks/AutoCAD clash-detection workflows.
- Strong leadership skills to enforce quality and progress on MEP subcontractors under tight project deadlines.
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken).
