MEP Design Engineer

Roles and responsibilities :

01. System Design: Design and plan the layout and specifications for mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems in buildings, taking into account the building's purpose and occupancy.

02. Load Calculations: Perform load calculations to determine the heating, cooling, electrical, plumbing, and Water Supply, requirements of a building.

03 Equipment Selection: Select appropriate equipment, components, and materials for HVAC (Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning), electrical, plumbing systems, and Water filtration System considering energy efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

04. Code Compliance: Ensure that all design work complies with local building codes, regulations, and industry standards to guarantee safety and legal compliance.

05. Energy Efficiency: Incorporate energy-efficient and sustainable design principles to reduce the environmental impact and operational costs of the building.

06. System Integration: Coordinate the integration of MEP systems with other architectural and structural components of the building.

07. AutoCAD and BIM: Use computer-aided design (CAD) software like AutoCAD and Building Information Modeling (BIM) tools to create detailed schematics, diagrams, and 3D models of the MEP systems.

08. Cost Estimation: Prepare cost estimates and budgets for MEP systems and materials, and assist in value engineering to optimize costs.

09. Collaboration: Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other professionals involved in the building design and construction process to ensure the seamless integration of MEP systems.

10. Aquaculture background is an advantage.

11. Education - Bachelors in MEP Engineering(Electrical Preferred)

12. Experience - Minimum 8 years of experience

Pay: AED1.00 - AED1.10 per month
