Job Title: MEP: Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our design team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and overseeing mechanical systems for various residential projects in Dubai UAE, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities:

• Design, review, and supervise mechanical systems (HVAC, Plumbing, Firefighting, Gas)
• Carrying out HAP calculations and relevant calculations required by local authorities.
• Coordinate MEP design with civil and architectural teams
• Ensure MEP works comply with project specifications and local and international regulations
• Preparation of submittal documentations for authority approvals
• Preparation of Design Concepts and detailed specifications.
• Provide technical guidance and recommendations to optimize mechanical designs for efficiency, sustainability, and cost-effectiveness.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5-8 years of relevant experience (Dubai project experience will be a plus).
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems and installation practices.
• Proficiency in MEP design software (AutoCAD, Revit MEP, HAP).
• Knowledge of local (Dubai) and international building codes (ASHRAE, NEC, N FPA).
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.
• Proficiency in English.
