MEP Engineer

The Role
Our Multi National Main Contracting client has a new requirement for a well experienced MEP Engineer to join their team in Dubai to work on a new residential development project. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a MEP Engineer on D&B projects from pre-construction phase overseeing design review and technical submittals for MEP contractors, ideal candidates will have experience in residential projects previously (including underground services) and have worked in the capacity of MEP Engineer for a Main Contracting company. This role is available for immediate joining and is an initial 6 Month Contract as an outsource employed by J10 Consulting. Key Responsibilities: • Design and develop MEP systems and equipment. • Conduct research and analysis to determine feasibility, design, operation, and performance of MEP systems • Create technical drawings and schematics using computer-aided design (CAD) software • Oversee installation of MEP systems and components • Collaborate with other engineers, designers, and clients to ensure project success • Test and evaluate mechanical systems to ensure they meet safety, quality, and performance standards • Troubleshoot and diagnose MEP problems and provide solutions • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, technologies, and regulations • Manage projects and budgets, ensuring deadlines are met and costs are controlled • Communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders • Develop and maintain documentation, including manuals and reports

Requirements
MEP Engineer Experience: • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering • At least 3 years’ relevant experience in MEP Engineering, installation and sub-contractor supervision • Ability to work using modeling software’s such as (Revit , AutoCAD) • Ability to use clash detection software’s such as Navisworks • Experienced in using A-Site / Aconex etc for technical submittals • Have strong engineering background in Mechanical or Electrical field • Have fair knowledge on the MEP system components and uses • Project Experience in GCC countries working on new build projects • Good communication skills
