MEP Engineer (Maintenance)

We are seeking a highly skilled MEP Engineer with strong maintenance expertise in HVAC, Electrical, and Plumbing systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing installation, preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and ensuring efficient operation of building services systems across projects and facilities.

Key Responsibilities

1. HVAC Systems

- Supervise installation, operation, and maintenance of HVAC equipment including chillers, AHUs, FCUs, VRF/VRV systems, split units, and ducting.
- Conduct performance testing, troubleshooting, and repair of HVAC systems.
- Prepare preventive maintenance schedules for HVAC equipment and ensure timely execution.
- Maintain records of refrigerant usage, energy consumption, and service reports.

2. Electrical Systems

- Inspect, operate, and maintain electrical systems including LV panels, DBs, and wiring.
- Troubleshoot electrical faults and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes and safety standards.
- Support energy-saving initiatives and upgrades.

3. Plumbing & Drainage Systems

- Supervise installation and maintenance of plumbing fixtures, pumps, piping networks, irrigation system and drainage systems.
- Inspect and repair leaks, blockages, and pressure-related issues.
- Ensure water heaters, water tanks, and pumps are functioning efficiently.
- Monitor water quality and compliance with safety and hygiene standards.

4. General Maintenance & Project Support

- Conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify maintenance requirements.
- Manage subcontractors and technicians for daily maintenance activities.
- Prepare maintenance reports, technical reports, work orders, and close-out documents.
- Coordinate with procurement for timely availability of spare parts and materials.
- Ensure adherence to preventive maintenance schedules across all MEP systems.

Qualifications & Skills

- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (or equivalent).
- Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP maintenance, with strong exposure to HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Knowledge of building management systems (BMS) and energy management is preferred.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects and prioritize tasks.
- Good communication and leadership skills to manage teams and subcontractors.
- Proficiency in MS Office, AutoCAD, and maintenance management software.

Salary Range- 5000-7000
