Job Title: MEP Estimation Engineer
Department: Estimation & Proposal
Reports to: Estimation Manager / Proposals Head

Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced MEP Estimation Engineer responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimations for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) components of construction projects. The ideal candidate will play vital role in Proposal preparations by analyzing drawings, specifications, & contract documents and developing comprehensive cost proposals aligned with project goals and client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

· Review and analyze tender documents, including drawings, specifications, BOQs, and contractual conditions.

· Prepare a comprehensive Proposal Study Report summarizing scope, risks, and assumptions.

· Prepare technical queries for client clarification and revise estimates accordingly.

· Prepare quantity take-offs and detailed BOQ for all MEP disciplines.

· Conduct site visits and prepare reports to evaluate on-ground conditions impacting the estimation.

· Coordinate with the procurement team and subcontractors to obtain accurate and competitive quotations.

· Implement bid strategies as directed by the Proposal Manager.

· Collaborate with construction and operations teams to align estimations with proposed execution methods.

· Identify and establish the direct and indirect cost elements for all project activities.

· Develop manpower loading and man-hour calculations for construction, erection, testing, and commissioning.

· Evaluate detailed vendor/subcontractor comparison sheets and recommend optimal selections.

· Assist in compiling technical and commercial bid submissions, including all supporting documentation and support in post-tender clarifications, and alignment meetings

· Assist project teams during initial project mobilization and handover phases.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in MEP Estimation & Proposal. and of that at least 2 years of site experience to understand execution challenges and costing.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite (especially Excel).
• Understanding of estimation software and ERP systems (preferred)
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, standards, and codes.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs150,000.00 - Rs200,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
