MEP Estimation Engineer

Key Responsibilities

  • Review tender documents including drawings, specifications, BOQs, scope of work, and contract conditions.
  • Prepare detailed quantity take‑offs for Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing systems.
  • Analyze project requirements and prepare cost estimates, budgets, and pricing sheets.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive quotations for materials and services.
  • Evaluate technical and commercial aspects of quotations and ensure compliance with project specifications.
  • Prepare value engineering proposals to optimize cost without compromising quality.
  • Develop and maintain cost databases, price lists, and historical project cost records.
  • Participate in pre‑tender meetings, site visits, and client/consultant discussions.
  • Prepare and submit technical and commercial proposals within deadlines.
  • Support management during negotiations and clarification meetings.
  • Coordinate with design, planning, and procurement teams for final tender submissions.
  • Assist in post‑tender activities including cost breakdowns, clarifications, and revisions.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Mechatronics Engineering.
  • 3–8 years of experience in MEP estimation (UAE experience preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, Fire Fighting, Plumbing, Drainage, Electrical, ELV, and LV systems.
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and technical evaluation skills.
  • Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
