MEP Project Engineer

Job Title: MEP Project Engineer Reporting to: Project Manager or Head of MEP

Summary

As an MEP Project Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing the mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) aspects of construction projects. Your role involves coordinating with design teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure the successful implementation of MEP systems.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate MEP design and engineering activities with project teams.
• Review project specifications and drawings to ensure compliance with MEP requirements.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and suppliers to procure materials and equipment.
• Monitor MEP installation activities to ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards.
• Conduct site inspections and quality control checks on MEP installations.
• Resolve technical issues and coordinate with design teams to implement solutions.
• Prepare progress reports and updates on MEP activities for project management.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards for MEP systems.

Internal Relationships: Project Manager, MEP Manager, Design Teams, Construction Teams.

External Relationships: Subcontractors, Suppliers.

Position Requirements

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.

Experience: Previous experience in MEP engineering or a related role preferred.

Skills & Competencies:

• Project management, technical aptitude, communication, problem-solving.
