MEP Project Manager

Position: MEP Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced and highly responsible MEP Project Manager to lead and manage Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) works for multiple construction projects across the UAE. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of proven experience managing MEP projects within the UAE construction environment, ensuring timely delivery, quality compliance, and cost control.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all MEP project activities from planning through execution and handover.
• Coordinate and control MEP works in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Plan, monitor, and track project progress to ensure timely completion within budget.
• Lead and manage MEP engineers, supervisors, foremen, subcontractors, and technicians on site.
• Coordinate closely with civil, architectural, and other project teams to ensure seamless integration of MEP services.
• Ensure strict compliance with HSE standards, UAE regulations, local authority requirements, and company policies.
• Review and approve MEP shop drawings, method statements, material submittals, and technical documents.
• Monitor quality of MEP installations and ensure compliance with project specifications, authority approvals, and international standards.
• Manage procurement coordination for MEP materials, equipment, and long-lead items.
• Control project costs, variations, claims, and ensure effective cost management.
• Conduct regular site inspections, progress meetings, and coordination meetings with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Resolve technical issues, site constraints, and coordination clashes effectively.
• Ensure testing, commissioning, and successful handover of MEP systems.
• Maintain accurate project documentation, progress reports, schedules, and records.
• Support inspections, audits, authority approvals, and final project handover documentation.

Requirements:

• Currently based in the UAE and available for immediate joining.
• Minimum 7 years of experience as an MEP Project Manager or Senior MEP Engineer within a reputable construction company in the UAE.
• Strong hands-on experience in HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and ELV systems.
• In-depth knowledge of UAE construction standards, local authority regulations (DEWA, ADDC, SEWA, Civil Defense, etc.), and HSE practices.
• Proven leadership and team management skills in large-scale, site-based environments.
• Strong coordination, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and work under tight deadlines and high-pressure environments.
• Excellent communication and reporting skills with clients, consultants, and internal management.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, safety-focused, and physically fit for site-based work.
