MEPS Expert

Main Purpose

Electrical & Mechanical Expert directs the activities of the project teams involved in the initiation, planning, start up, execution and closeout of Electrical & Mechanical maintenance projects including testing and commissioning and is responsible for ensuring project goals are achieved and status reports are completed timely and accurately.

Qualifications

Profil de candidat recherché :

• Diploma in Engineering - in any stream. Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical.
• Post-graduation in technical field and management is desirable. Knowledge and Skills
• Sound Knowledge in Railway/Metro E&M equipment installation and maintenance and current trends in the international field.
• Good understanding of key safety issues and interface issues with various systems, related to operation and maintenance of metro system.
• Good understanding of various E&M systems like electrical, viaduct lighting, plumbing/water, HVAC, ventilation systems, smoke extraction, fire detection, fire suppression, escalators and elevators, landscape, passenger comfort equipment etc.
• Good understanding of CMMS based maintenance management and analysing CMMS data.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good RAMS and system engineering knowledge
• Excellent in written and oral communication, negotiating and influencing skills.
• Excellent judgment and decision-making skills.
  
  

Experience

• A minimum of 8 years’ experience in maintenance management in Railway /Metro organisation.
• Good experience in handling a team of experienced Engineers and technicians in metro O&M industry.
• Experience in start-up of new metro or railway operation including hiring and training of maintenance staff, drafting of maintenance and safety procedures and manuals, testing, commissioning and empty trial running
• Strong experience in handling large scale projects ideally within Operations and Maintenance services.
• Experience in using various Microsoft office software’s.
