Merchandiser

We are looking for an experienced Merchandiser who will play a significant role towards ensuring an appealing display, fulfill product orders and communicate well on behalf of the employer to the customers.

Candidates must have prior experience in a similar role with a reputed supermarket (at least 2-4 years of experience).

Job Responsibilities:

  • Receiving deliveries and checking the content, quantity, quality and temperature.
  • Report any discrepancies to the store keeper and shop manager
  • Ensuring that all chilled and frozen items is handled and stored correctly.
  • Check availability of items and ensure that shelves are always stocked across the whole range.
  • Ensure Cold chain of products is maintained.
  • Report any out of stocks to the Shop Manager.
  • Check sell-by dates on a daily basis and ensure all open products are within date range.
  • Ensure that strict stock rotation takes place following FIFO principles.
  • Ensure all products are priced correctly with ingredients and legal content listed where appropriate.
  • Inform manager to request promotion for near expiry items.
  • Ensure all the wastages must be recorded and dispatched to the proper location.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to AED2,400.00 per month
