Merchandiser

Key Responsibilities:

• Communicate with buyers to understand requirements and specifications.
• Develop and source samples and trims as per client needs.
• Coordinate with design, production, and quality teams.
• Monitor production timelines and manage order follow-ups.
• Ensure quality standards and delivery schedules are met.
• Prepare costing, T&A plans, and negotiate with suppliers/vendors.
• Maintain all documentation related to orders, samples, and shipments.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Merchandising, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in textile merchandising.
• Strong knowledge of fabrics, garment construction, and textile production processes.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office, Excel, and merchandising software.
• Ability to manage multiple orders and deadlines.
