Job Summary:

We are seeking a proactive and analytical Merchandiser-Buyer to manage both product selection and inventory merchandising for our vending machine division. This position is critical for ensuring optimal product assortment, stock availability, and profitability. The ideal candidate will be skilled at analyzing sales data, negotiating with suppliers, managing inventory, and planning efficient vending machine restocking routes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source, negotiate, and purchase products from vendors ensuring competitive pricing and quality.
• Analyze sales data and customer preferences to forecast demand and optimize SKU assortment for vending machines.
• Manage inventory levels, monitor stock turnover, and plan replenishment schedules to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
• Plan and execute vending machine routes and restocking efficiently to maximize operational productivity.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and resolve any supply issues.
• Monitor market trends and customer preferences to adjust product ranges accordingly.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, stock levels, and sales performance using inventory management tools.
• Address any maintenance or operational issues related to vending machines in coordination with technical staff.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Proven experience in retail merchandising, buying, or related retail inventory management roles.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret sales data and forecast demand.
• Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Excellent organizational abilities.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle physical tasks related to vending machine restocking.
• Proficiency in computer applications such as inventory management software, excel, and data analysis tools.
• High attention to detail and problem-solving mindset.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in vending machine operations or retail merchandising.
• Familiarity with sales forecasting software or tools.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹12,500.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
