MERN Stack Developer

Job Title: Full Stack MERN Developer – Onsite (Faisalabad)

Location: Onsite – Paklogics, ChenOne Road, Faisalabad

Timings: 5:00 PM to 2:00 AM

Experience Required: 1.5 to 2 Years

Paklogics is a leading software development company delivering high-quality digital solutions to clients across the globe. We're looking for a skilled MERN Stack Developer to join our in-house team in Faisalabad and contribute to building scalable, efficient, and modern web applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop full-stack web applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js
• Build reusable React components and implement responsive UI/UX
• Create RESTful APIs with secure and scalable backend logic
• Handle frontend-backend integration and third-party API consumption
• Manage MongoDB queries, schemas, relationships, and aggregations using Mongoose
• Optimize performance of both frontend and backend modules
• Write clean, testable, and maintainable code
• Collaborate with the design, QA, and PM teams throughout the development lifecycle
• Participate in sprint planning, task estimation, and peer code reviews

Required Skills & Expertise (For 1.5 – 2 Years Experience)Frontend Development (React.js)

• Strong grip on component-based architecture and state management
• Experience with Hooks (useState, useEffect, etc.) and functional components
• Routing with React Router v6
• Form handling using Formik or React Hook Form
• Familiarity with Redux or Context API
• Responsive layout skills using Flexbox, CSS Grid, and media queries
• Styling with Tailwind CSS, SCSS, or styled-components

Backend Development (Node.js + Express.js)

• Creating and managing APIs using Express
• Authentication with JWT and role-based access control
• Error handling, middleware, and validation
• REST API design and optimization
• API rate limiting, logging, and monitoring (basic)

Database (MongoDB)

• Working knowledge of Mongoose for schema design
• CRUD operations and aggregation pipelines
• Relationship handling and indexing
• Performance optimization for NoSQL databases

Version Control & Deployment

• Hands-on Git experience (pull, push, branches, merge conflicts)
• Familiarity with GitHub or GitLab workflows
• Basic deployment on Vercel, Netlify, or Node.js app servers with PM2 + Nginx
• Environment variable handling through .env files

Soft Skills

• Problem-solving and logical thinking
• Strong communication and team collaboration
• Ability to work independently under deadlines
• Attention to detail and commitment to code quality
• Willingness to work in night shift (5 PM – 2 AM)
