Metal Fabricator/Welder

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Metal Fabricator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in metal fabrication, with proficiency in various welding techniques and the ability to work with a range of materials. This role requires attention to detail, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform Mig/stick welding and other welding techniques as required
• Fabricate components from sheet metal and other materials
• Utilise hand tools and power tools for cutting, shaping, and assembling metal parts
• Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Conduct quality checks to ensure all fabricated items meet required standards
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time

Experience

• Proven experience in metal fabrication, particularly with Mig welding
• Familiarity with <LOCATION> welding techniques is advantageous
• Proficient in using hand tools and power tools related to fabrication processes
• Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of assembly processes
• Basic mathematical skills for measurements and calculations related to fabrication tasks
• Ability to work effectively under pressure while maintaining high-quality standards
