Metal Project Engineer

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer with a strong background in architectural metal work and steel fabrication to join our team in Ajman. The ideal candidate will have hands-on site and technical experience, strong coordination skills, and the ability to manage projects from design through to installation and handover.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage all stages of project execution including planning, design coordination, procurement, fabrication, installation, and final handover.
• Prepare, review, and interpret technical drawings and CAD drafts for architectural metal and steel works.
• Supervise site activities to ensure work is executed according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety protocols.
• Coordinate between clients, consultants, architects, contractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project flow and timely resolution of issues.
• Analyze material requirements and support procurement for ongoing and upcoming projects.
• Monitor project schedules, track progress, and prepare regular reports and documentation.
• Provide technical guidance to site teams and ensure high-quality workmanship.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and represent the company professionally during meetings and site visits.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of proven experience in architectural metal work projects.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication and installation methods for architectural metal elements.
• Proficiency in reading and preparing technical drawings (AutoCAD or similar software).
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
