Job Description: Mid-Level Commercial Real Estate Associate

Our firm, a highly regarded practice with a national presence, is seeking a skilled and motivated Mid-Level Commercial Real Estate Associate to join our dynamic team in Charleston. Key Responsibilities:
In this role, you will take on a significant and active role in a diverse portfolio of complex real estate matters. Your core duties will include:
· Leading the representation of clients in all phases of commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, development, and leasing.
· Structuring, negotiating, and drafting documents for real estate secured financings, joint ventures, and partnership agreements.
· Providing strategic counsel to a sophisticated client base, including developers, investors, lenders, and institutional clients on corporate governance and transactional matters.
· Advising on critical regulatory and entitlement issues, including zoning appeals, land use, property tax assessments, and workforce housing agreements.
· Independently managing and driving complex transactions from inception to successful closing.
Qualifications & Requirements:
· Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
· Active admission to the South Carolina Bar, or eligibility and willingness to become admitted.
· A minimum of 5 years of dedicated experience in commercial real estate law at a leading law firm.
· Proven, hands-on expertise in real estate finance, zoning, land use, and entitlement processes.
· Demonstrated experience in negotiating joint ventures and representing developers, lenders, and/or institutional investors is highly preferred.
· Exceptional drafting, negotiation, and client management skills.
