Core Responsibilities
- Client Assessment: Evaluate clients' health status, lifestyle, and needs through discussions and potential assessments.
- Personalized Plan Creation: Develop holistic wellness plans covering nutrition, exercise, stress management, and sleep.
- Guidance & Support: Offer motivational coaching, conduct check-ins, and provide ongoing support.
- Technique Application: Teach and use mind-body modalities like mindfulness, meditation, yoga, breathwork, or energy work.
- Progress Monitoring: Track client progress and adjust plans for continued success.
- Holistic Focus: Address the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit for overall well-being.
Common Roles & Settings
- Health & Wellness Coach: Helps clients build healthy habits.
- Mindfulness Instructor: Teaches focus and present-moment awareness.
- Body Worker: Uses touch-based therapies (massage, acupressure).
- Corporate Wellness Consultant: Implements programs in workplaces.
- Settings: Private practice, wellness centers, spas, hospitals, corporate environments.
Key Skills & Qualifications
- Knowledge: Holistic wellness, anatomy, physiology, specific modalities (yoga, meditation).
