MIS Executive

Job Summary:

The MIS Executive will be responsible for managing and analyzing data related to construction projects, resources, and operations. This role involves maintaining databases, generating reports, and supporting decision-making through accurate and timely information. The ideal candidate should have strong analytical skills, proficiency in data tools, and a good understanding of construction workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain project-related databases and dashboards.
  • Collect, compile, and analyze data from various departments (e.g., procurement, site operations, HR).
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports on project progress, resource utilization, and cost tracking.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all MIS systems.
  • Coordinate with site engineers and project managers to gather real-time updates.
  • Automate reporting processes using Excel macros, Power BI, or other tools.
  • Monitor KPIs and flag deviations to management.
  • Support audits and compliance reporting with accurate documentation.
  • Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities using historical data.
  • Provide training and support to staff on MIS tools and systems.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in MIS or data analysis, preferably in the construction or infrastructure sector.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (Advanced), Power BI, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of construction project workflows and terminology is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and coordination skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
