Job Overview:
The Mixologist is responsible for crafting exceptional cocktails, providing knowledgeable beverage recommendations, and creating a refined and engaging bar experience for guests. This role requires a deep understanding of spirits, wines, and cocktail techniques, along with the ability to maintain high service standards in an upscale dining environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Craft Cocktails: Prepare and serve high-quality cocktails with precision, creativity, and consistency.
  • Beverage Knowledge: Maintain an in-depth understanding of spirits, wines, beer, and cocktail pairings, as well as emerging trends in mixology.
  • Guest Interaction: Provide a sophisticated and engaging experience by making recommendations, answering questions, and accommodating special requests.
  • Presentation & Garnishing: Ensure all drinks are beautifully presented with proper glassware, garnishes, and attention to detail.
  • Inventory & Stocking: Assist with managing bar inventory, tracking stock levels, and ensuring all ingredients are fresh and properly stored.
  • Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain a spotless and well-organized bar, following health and safety regulations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work seamlessly with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow and timely drink delivery.
  • Upselling & Salesmanship: Promote premium spirits, wine pairings, and signature cocktails to enhance the guest experience and increase sales.
  • Compliance: Adhere to liquor laws, responsible alcohol service guidelines, and restaurant policies.

Qualifications & Skills:
  • Previous experience as a mixologist or bartender in an upscale or fine dining establishment required.
  • Extensive knowledge of classic and modern cocktails, spirits, and wine.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Professional demeanor with a passion for hospitality.
  • Certification in responsible alcohol service (e.g., TIPS, ServSafe Alcohol) preferred.
