ML/AI Engineering Team Lead

We are in search of a seasoned and visionary individual to become an integral part of our passionate team. In the role of Engineering Team Lead, you will be pivotal in coordinating our AI/ML engineering unit, driving the development of cutting-edge solutions that push the boundaries for our clients.

Responsibilities

• Strategize, plan, and deliver MLOps initiatives by collaborating with key business stakeholders
• Design, develop, and deploy complex AI/ML solutions on cloud infrastructure (using ML engineering, MLOps workflows, and tools) that can scale in response to changing business and technical requirements
• Create infrastructure and architecture diagrams
• Allocate tasks to junior ML engineers and ensure activities are brought to closure
• Improve coding practices, support code reviews, and establish best practices for model management
• Provide thought leadership regarding new technologies and tools; suggest improvements as appropriate
• Support the recruitment process for hiring junior and senior ML engineers

Requirements

• 5+ years of production experience in AI/ML engineering
• Leadership experience exceeding 1 year applicable to the role
• In-depth understanding of CI/CD, Core Data Ops, Docker, Jenkins, and Kubernetes
• Proficiency in machine learning model development
• Knowledge of best practices in software engineering, data management, testing, and deployment
• Expertise in building scalable, reliable, and maintainable ML systems
• Excellent understanding of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented programming, ML engineering, and tools
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with senior business stakeholders, customers, and team members
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, mentor and guide junior team members, and provide technical leadership
• Excellent command of written and spoken English (B2+ level)
