Mobile Developer (Flutter + Native Android/iOS) – WebRTC Live Streaming App

Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Mobile Developer to join our team for a cross-platform live streaming app built using WebRTC. The role involves developing and integrating real-time video filters (beauty, color, and smoothing) on native Android (Kotlin) and iOS (Swift), while connecting them to our Flutter front-end.
You will be responsible for enhancing our WebRTC fork, implementing native filter features, and optimizing real-time performance across platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement real-time video filters (beauty, smoothing, and color effects) on Android and iOS.
• Integrate filters into a custom WebRTC fork, modifying the native media pipeline as required.
• Optimize performance for smooth, low-latency live streaming.
• Bridge native Android/iOS modules with Flutter using MethodChannel.
• Ensure cross-platform feature consistency and reliability.
• Compile and maintain WebRTC native libraries for Android and iOS.
• Collaborate with the Flutter team for UI and streaming control integration.

Requirements

• Strong experience with native Android (Kotlin) and iOS (Swift) development.
• Deep understanding of WebRTC architecture (peer connection, media streams, ICE/STUN/TURN).
• Proven experience implementing real-time camera filters using OpenGL ES, Metal, or GPU frameworks.
• Skilled with C/C++ integration, JNI, and native library compilation.
• Familiarity with Flutter and MethodChannel for bridging native code with Dart.
• Knowledge of mobile build systems (Gradle/Kotlin DSL, Xcode, CocoaPods).
• Understanding of video codecs, streaming protocols, and low-latency optimization.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in live streaming apps with camera filters.
• Knowledge of RTMP or HLS streaming.
• Experience with low-latency real-time video optimization.
