Money Market Fund Manager

Job Summary:

BMA Investment Advisors Ltd. is looking for an experienced Money Market Fund Manager for its Karachi office. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of money market instruments, financial markets, and risk management principles.

Key Responsibilities:

- Portfolio Management: Manage the mutual fund's portfolio, investing in money market instruments.

- Investment Strategy: Develop and implement investment strategies based on market analysis and fund objectives.

- Risk Management: Assess and mitigate risks associated with investments, ensuring alignment with the fund's risk profile.

- Compliance: Ensure all investment activities comply with regulatory requirements, fund prospectus, and internal policies.

- Performance Monitoring: Monitor fund performance, tracking yields, and benchmarking against peers.

- Reporting: Prepare FMRs and provide regular reports on fund performance and market updates.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field; MBA or CFA Level 1 preferred.

- 1+ years of experience in money market fund management or a similar role.

- Strong knowledge of money market instruments, financial markets, and risk management principles.

- Excellent analytical and decision-making skills.

- Experience with regulatory frameworks and compliance is a plus.
