Associate Attorney – Civil Litigation (Remote – Must Be CA Licensed)

About the Role

Rissell Law APC is actively seeking a full-time Associate Attorney licensed in California with a minimum of 1 year of civil litigation experience. While direct Labor & Employment Law experience is not required, it is strongly preferred. A demonstrated interest or passion for employment litigation is essential.

What You’ll Do

• Manage and litigate civil litigation matters with supervision
• Draft legal pleadings, motions, discovery, and correspondence
• Conduct legal research and develop case strategies
• Participate in virtual court hearings, depositions, and mediations
• Collaborate with a passionate, mission-driven legal team
• Support clients during sensitive and challenging circumstances

What We’re Looking For

• Must be an active member of the California State Bar
• At least 1 year of experience in civil litigation
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Passion for labor and employment law
• Detail-oriented, highly organized, and self-motivated
• Able to work independently in a remote environment
