Mow Crew Lead

Responsibilities

• Assign work tasks to crew members.
• Manage crew, truck, equipment and daily routes.
• Ability to operate tablets for daily schedules.
• Ensure crew safety.
• Teach and train team members to ensure proper procedures, systems and quality of work are followed and achieved.
• Jobs are to be done efficiently and work is to be completed within the budgeted hours.
• Duties include mowing, string trimming, blowing, Spring & Fall clean-ups, snow removal, driving trucks and trailers.
• Assure that work is performed to the highest quality standards.
• Safely and efficiently operate and maintain lawn maintenance equipment and other tools
• Perform basic equipment repair and maintenance duties.
• Ability to communicate well with customers and team members.
• Commercial and Residential maintenance
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
• Continuously improve knowledge and education

Requirements

• Basic knowledge of landscape maintenance techniques and methods; basic proficiency using hand tools.
• Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.
• Performs high quality detail work.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to multi-task.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Reliable
• Team player and possess good people skills.
• Self-motivated and possess strong leadership skills.
• Must have the ability to think proactively, plan ahead and problem solve.
• Follows policies, procedures, codes of conduct and core values.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs
• Ability to work in all types of weather conditions.
• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record (Required)
• 2 years of experience in the Commercial landscape industry.

Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
