What awaits you in this role?

In this exciting and challenging role, you will play a central role in shaping the material planning and logistics (MP&L) strategies in Central Planning Team. You'll collaborate with various departments, develop expertise for capacity, vehicle, new project planning actions in a global automotive company.

What are we looking for in this position?

• Perform monthly vehicle planning in a timely manner, in line with capacity and constraints, while prioritizing incoming requests to ensure customer satisfaction, and performing order planning accordingly.

• Manage constraints based on supplier and production (assemly, paintshop etc ) and ensuring that these constraints align with systems

• Develop and implement process improvements to improve efficiency and improve value to customers.

• Implementation of engineering changes in production line by coordinating all related stakeholders

• Single Point of Contact for Material Planning and Logistics Department (MP&L) during prebuild phases of new projects.

• Being in the core of part shortage process for prebuild phases (TT, PP, MP1) of new projects in coordination with all related stakeholders .

• Coordination of FIR (Finance Information Request) Studies of new projects in PS, PSC and PA Gateways within related MP&L departments according to GPDS.

• Manage and maintain the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and related systems, ensuring data accuracy and resolving any discrepancies to support production goals.

• Develop and implement material forecasts, analysing demand fluctuations and adjusting plans to meet production targets and customer needs.

• Generate reports on material availability, inventory status, forecasting, capacity analysis and planning performance to inform decision-making.

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve demand forecasts, enhancing forecast accuracy to form the basis for strategic material procurement and production scheduling.

• Collaborate with production, operations teams and suppliers to conduct capacity planning, identifying and managing potential constraints

• Collaborate closely with internal departments such as production, engineering, purchasing, and warehouse operations to ensure seamless material flow and alignment of objectives.

Technical & Behavioural Skills and Competencies

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering,

• Fluent in English

• Excellent command of Microsoft Office applications

• Have strong communication & interpersonal skills and have attention to details

• Be collaborative, team player, cutomer oriented and quick learner

• Advanced level of Microsoft Office applications.

• A good and motivated team player, but also well prepared to work independently, output-oriented and ready to take self-initiative with solution-oriented nature.

• Interested in latest business trends and technologies (i.e. Electrification, Industry 4.0, Data analytics)

• Data oriented mindset with strong problem solving skills

• Having some experience in data analysis (i.e. Python Libraries) for Big Data Interpreation

• Develop a positive working relationship
