Role Overview

This is a hands-on technical and operational role within the org.'s Trading Operations team. The role focuses on the administration, monitoring, and optimisation of MetaTrader 5 trading platforms and the bridge providers, supporting Org' s global institutional trading infrastructure.

You will play a critical role in ensuring platform stability, execution quality, accurate trade conditions (swaps/dividends/holidays), and timely resolution of trading issues. The ideal candidate is proactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, institutional trading environment.

Responsibilities:

Trading Platform Administration (MT5)

· Maintain, configure and monitor MT5 servers, including symbols, groups, securities, data feeds, and plugins

· Manage trading accounts, account groups, permissions and security configurations

· Monitor trade flow, execution quality, pricing behaviour and system alerts

· Perform platform updates, upgrades, and patching while ensuring system stability and minimal downtime

· Proactively monitor CPU, RAM, disk usage and overall server health, taking action when thresholds are breached

· Troubleshoot platform-related issues in real time and coordinate resolutions across internal teams and vendors

· Liaise with third-party technology providers for platform enhancements, custom plugins, and feature requests

Liquidity Bridge, Execution & Futures Management

· Configure and maintain institutional liquidity bridges (e.g. PrimeXM, Centroid, YourBourse, etc) and aggregation layer for pricing and order routing

· Monitor execution quality, latency, slippage, rejects and fill behaviour

· Set up and maintain liquidity provider connections, symbol mappings, markups and routing logic

· Work closely with liquidity providers and internal trading teams to optimise pricing and execution outcomes

· Support detailed trade investigations involving execution discrepancies, pricing issues or liquidity behaviour

· Manage futures products, including contract specifications, rollover logic and trading condition changes

· Oversee futures expiry processes, including contract rollovers, position handling, and cash adjustments where applicable

Swaps, Dividends & Trading Conditions

· Collect and maintain swap rates from all liquidity providers

· Compare, analyse, and recommend the most suitable swap structures for deployment

· Ensure swaps are accurately configured and applied across all relevant trading instruments

· Review, manage, and validate dividend schedules for equity and equity index products

· Ensure correct dividend application based on traded instruments and liquidity provider specifications

· Monitor changes in trading conditions to ensure accuracy, consistency, and client transparency

Market Holidays & Trading Schedule Management

· Collect upcoming holiday schedules and trading hours from all liquidity providers

· Compare and reconcile differences across providers

· Share validated holiday schedules with the Operations team to support timely client communication

· Ensure correct holiday trading settings are applied on the trading platforms

· Trade Investigations & Operational Support

· Conduct detailed trade investigations, including execution quality, pricing disputes, swaps, dividends and margin-related issues

· Analyse platform logs, bridge data and execution records to identify root causes

· Support internal stakeholders with clear, timely and accurate investigation outcomes

· Assist with incident management, post-incident reviews and preventative measures

Key Skills & Competencies

· Strong understanding of MT5 platform architecture and backend configuration

· Hands-on experience with institutional liquidity bridges and order-routing systems

· Solid knowledge of trade lifecycle, execution mechanics, and liquidity management

· Experience managing swaps, dividends, and holiday trading schedules

· Strong troubleshooting skills, including log analysis and execution diagnostics

· Familiarity with FIX protocol and API-based integrations

· Excellent attention to detail and disciplined change management approach

· Proactive, solution-oriented mindset with strong ownership

· Ability to work independently and under pressure in a 24/7 trading environment

· Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

Required Experience & Qualifications

· 1–3 years’ experience in MT5 system administration within an FX/CFD or institutional

· brokerage

· Proven experience working with institutional liquidity aggregation or bridge solutions

· Bachelor’s degree in IT, Finance, Engineering, or a related field (preferred)

· Familiarity with institutional trading platforms, liquidity systems, and brokerage operations
