Job Description:
The MTO – Leather Merchandiser will support the merchandising team in managing the end-to-end order process for leather products, from product development to final delivery. This role is designed to provide hands-on experience in sourcing, costing, production coordination, and client communication within the leather industry. The trainee will closely work with production, quality assurance, and supply chain teams to ensure timely execution of orders while maintaining quality standards.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in handling customer inquiries, order follow-ups, and maintaining strong client relationships
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure timely execution of leather goods orders
- Support in product development, sampling, and approval processes
- Monitor order status, track production progress, and update internal teams regularly
- Prepare costing sheets and assist in price negotiations with buyers and suppliers
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications for leather products
- Collaborate with sourcing teams to procure raw materials and accessories on time
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Textile/Leather Engineering, or a related field
- Strong interest in merchandising, especially in leather garments, goods, or accessories
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic knowledge of leather products, materials, and production processes (preferred)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Fresh graduates or candidates with up to 1 year of relevant experience are encouraged to apply
Pay: Rs40,000.00 per month
