Boomerang keeps millions of professionals productive in their inboxes. Our new podcast (Less Busy Lab) and video-based user acquisition SEO opportunities need a creative storyteller who can shape raw conversations and product knowledge‑base content into must‑watch videos that educate, entertain, and (most importantly) convert.
What you’ll do
- Adapt each podcast episode to video — create 3‑5 vertical clips every 2 weeks (Shorts/Reels/TikTok/YouTube) and possibly longer-form versions for YouTube.
- Create tutorial & FAQ videos (50+ / year) — script, screencast (Loom/Snagit/Camtasia/etc), record light voice‑over or on‑screen captions, and produce concise how‑tos that answer common user questions and showcase where our products help.
- Edit the podcast in Descript (or equivalent) — clean audio, balance levels, and export the rough cut for final polish.
- Queue and optimize posts — write eye‑catching titles, descriptions, tags, thumbnail briefs, and schedule releases across YouTube, LinkedIn, X, Instagram, and TikTok.
- Maintain our visual & verbal brand — ensure every clip feels unmistakably Boomerang: energetic, practical, and friendly.
- Maintain a board (GQueues or Trello) to track status
- Review analytics weekly, propose experiments (A/B titles, thumbnails, opening cuts) and iterate.
- Do keyword research (Keyword Planner/TubeBuddy/VidIQ) and use that data to plan ideas for tutorial videos
