Multimedia Graphic Designer

Position Overview

The Multimedia Graphic Designer develops design solutions in multiple media areas for Bowtech family of products, ensuring quality and timely delivery.

The Multimedia Graphic Designer is unique in that it provides the opportunity to manage design projects and solutions from Strategy to final delivery, for multiple products in multiple formats. This position is instrumental in creating, implementing, and utilizing brand style guides to enhance brand message and feel.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Graphic Design – Create designs, concepts, and sample layouts based on knowledge of layout principles and esthetic design concepts.

Content development management for the dedicated brand on our owned properties - develop and design Graphic content for print, exhibition, website, advertisements, and social media.

Graphic Management – Manage Graphic aspects of brand and product projects, from producing the Graphic strategy to developing the approved Graphic look, feel, and messaging. Also, responsible for implementation on all platforms.

The Multimedia Graphic Designer will be responsible to create core assets like the following, but not limited to:

  • Graphic/logos
  • Product badging/artwork
  • Consumer packaging artwork
  • Product slicks, posters, white papers
  • Full catalogs
  • Event, presentation, sales materials, quick-reference guides
  • Digital ad units, banners, website assets, social media assets, etc.

Where this position separates itself from the traditional “Graphic Designer” role is managing all aspects of brand digital content. This begins with the development of the digital strategy and being responsible for updating all digital ‘owned’ properties. This includes, but not limited to:

  • Websites
  • Specific product pages
  • Blogs
  • Rotation banners
  • E Commerce
  • Display ads
  • Announcements
  • News updates
  • Product Info
  • Quizzes

Other Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for supporting and adhering to company policies and procedures
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of department and industry
  • Ensures all graphics are developed, delivered and published on time across all digital platforms
  • Accommodates other interdepartmental design requests
  • Creates designs for Social Team, Product Marketing Team and Corporate Team, as needed

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 4 years of graphic design experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Must have impeccable file management skills and experience.
  • Trained in modern design principles, including layout, typography, photograph manipulation, vector graphics, etc.
  • Strong Graphic design and layout skills and experience
  • Proficient in creating and modifying a wide range of files in the Adobe Design Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Interest in the outdoors, with an emphasis on hunting. Preferred but not required.
  • An engagement and participation in the archery aspect of the outdoors is preferred but is not required.
  • Video editing experience in one or more platforms (Premiere Pro, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, CapCut, etc.) is preferred.
  • Knowledge of marketing principles and processes preferred
  • Knowledge of common industry terminology
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills to obtain objectives
  • Proficiency in Adobe Design Suite
  • Working experience using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook
  • Familiarity with Mac and PC operating systems
  • Bow product knowledge or the ability to learn product details
  • Ability to conceptualize, design, present and execute modern, sophisticated tactile and digital design and social media experiences, including identity systems, 2D and 3D branding, illustration and campaign assets
  • Planning and organizing abilities
  • Problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects. Keen attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment
  • Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work collaboratively and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, customers and vendors
  • Must have a portfolio available to view
  • Receives feedback from team in a positive manner
  • Ability to prioritize workload
  • Able to maintain confidentiality

Pay: $55,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year

Experience:

  • Hunting, outdoors: 2 years (Preferred)
