Murex Technical Support Engineer

Provide Level 2/3 technical support for Murex applications, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and service requests.

Monitor application performance, carry out log analysis, and troubleshoot issues across environments.

Coordinate with infrastructure, middleware, and database teams to resolve system-level issues.

Support deployment, patching, and environment upgrades, ensuring minimal downtime.

Contribute to root-cause analysis and implement permanent fixes to prevent recurrence.

Participate in change, release, and DR activities for Murex platforms.

Develop scripts and automation solutions to streamline monitoring and support activities.

8-10 years of IT experience, with at least 4-5 years in application support for Murex or other mission-critical trading/risk systems.

Strong technical skills in Python, Java, PostgreSQL, and Cloud (AWS/Azure).

Solid understanding of Unix/Linux environments, shell scripting, and middleware components.

Experience managing incidents in high-pressure environments with tight SLAs.

Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

Knowledge of Murex infrastructure architecture and environment management.

Exposure to CI/CD pipelines, automation frameworks, and DevOps practices.

Understanding of capital markets products (FX, IRD, Commodities).

Familiarity with ITIL processes (incident, problem, and change management).
