We are currently seeking a highly skilled NACE Level 3 Coating Paint Inspector to support our marine and offshore operations in Qatar. In this role, you will lead coating inspection activities and ensure all work meets industry standards and project specifications. You will play a key role in upholding quality and safety while contributing to the successful delivery of our projects in the region.


YOUR TASK AND RESPONSIBILITIES


1. Job Responsibilities

  • The NACE Level 3 Inspector shall be responsible for:

  • Supervising and verifying all blasting and coating works onboard.

  • Ensuring compliance with project specifications and standards (ISO, NACE, SSPC, ASTM).

  • Conducting inspections for surface cleanliness, environmental monitoring, DFT checks, and adhesion testing.

  • Preparing daily inspection and non-conformance reports.

  • Reviewing coating materials, MDS, batch certificates, and ITPs.

  • Coordinating with QA/QC teams and mentoring junior inspectors.

  • Ensuring full compliance with the Client and PALFINGER HSE procedures during coating operations.

2. Deliverables

  • Daily and final coating inspection reports

  • Non-conformance and corrective action reports

  • Coating material and batch certification review

  • Final coating dossier and acceptance report


YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

NACE Level 3 Certification is mandatory

Minimum 8 years of coating inspection experience in oil & gas (offshore preferred).

Strong knowledge of protective coatings, corrosion control, and related standards.

Ability to work in offshore environments and comply with HSE requirements.

Valid offshore medical and safety certifications (BOSIET, HUET preferred).

Transferable visa or ability to mobilize immediately.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Verify and book various types of invoices (External, Intercompany, PO, NON-PO) in SAP, ensuring timely processing to respect payment terms and avoid delays
  • Identify correct coding information, forward invoices for proper approval, and ensure compliance with defined Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  • Communicate with internal and external customers to investigate and resolve issues with supplier invoices
  • Prepare necessary documents for closing financial periods and summarize the current financial status, including reconciliation of all accounts payable
  • Ensure adherence to International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-4 years of previous experience in a similar position
  • Good level of English - B2; good level of German (B2) is an advantage
  • University degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics
  • Strong organizational, communication and analytical skills
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office 365, experience with SAP is an advantage
