Responsibilities

• Provide professional nail care services such as manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and attention to detail
• Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable treatments or products based on color theory and current trends
• Maintain strict sanitation and hygiene standards by properly sterilizing tools and workstations in compliance with health regulations
• Stay updated on the latest nail techniques, trends, and products to offer innovative services that excite clients
• Upsell retail products like nail polishes, treatments, and skincare items to enhance client satisfaction and increase sales
• Assist with maintaining a clean, organized workspace that promotes safety and efficiency throughout the day
• Build strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service skills, ensuring repeat visits and positive reviews

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology or esthetician license with certification in nail care required
• Demonstrated knowledge of color theory for creating appealing nail designs and art
• Experience with various nail techniques including gel application, acrylics, and intricate nail art
• Strong communication skills to understand client needs and provide personalized recommendations
• Knowledge of sanitation procedures to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
• Familiarity with hair extensions, eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling, hair threading, dermabrasion, esthetic laser treatments, and barbering is a plus for cross-service opportunities
• Ability to upsell retail products effectively using retail math skills to meet sales goals
• Passion for the beauty industry with a keen eye for detail and creativity
