Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of nail services including manicures, gel manicures, acrylic and nail extensions, and pedicures with precision and artistry.
• Apply advanced techniques such as color theory for custom nail designs and nail art to enhance client satisfaction.
• Maintain strict salon safety protocols, sanitation standards, and disinfection procedures to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences, provide expert advice on nail care, and upsell retail products to enhance their experience.
• Stay updated on the latest trends in nail fashion, esthetic laser treatments, eyelash extensions, hair styling, hair extensions, body waxing, hair threading, and other beauty services offered in the salon.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of workstations and tools while adhering to all sanitation guidelines.
• Build strong relationships with clients through excellent customer service and personalized recommendations to foster loyalty.

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology or esthetician license with certification in nail technology.
• Proven experience working in the beauty industry with skills in manicure, pedicure, gel manicures, acrylic nails application, and nail extensions.
• Knowledge of color theory, nail care products, sanitation practices, disinfection procedures, and salon safety protocols.
• Strong communication skills to effectively engage with clients and understand their needs.
• Ability to perform detailed work such as nail art design using various techniques including acrylic application and dermabrasion.
• Experience with retail sales strategies like upselling products related to nail care or other salon services.
• Flexibility to work varied shifts including weekends or evenings as needed.
