Nail Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide a wide range of nail services including manicures, gel manicures, acrylic and nail extension applications, and pedicures with precision and attention to detail
• Perform advanced nail techniques such as nail art, color theory application, and nail enhancements to meet client preferences
• Maintain strict salon safety protocols by adhering to sanitation, disinfection procedures, and hygiene standards to ensure a safe environment for clients and staff
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs, offer professional recommendations, and ensure satisfaction with each service
• Upsell retail products such as nail care items, skincare products, and other beauty accessories to enhance client experience and increase sales
• Keep workstations clean, organized, and fully stocked with necessary supplies while following all health regulations
• Stay current on industry trends including new techniques like eyelash extensions, body waxing, or esthetic laser treatments to expand service offerings

Requirements

• Valid cosmetology or esthetician license with certification in nail technology or related fields
• Proven experience working in the beauty industry as a Nail Technician or similar role
• Strong knowledge of nail care principles including disinfection procedures, sanitation standards, and salon safety protocols
• Skilled in various techniques such as acrylic nail application, gel manicures, nail extensions, and pedicures
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and build rapport with diverse clients
• Ability to upsell retail products effectively while maintaining a friendly and professional demeanor
• Familiarity with retail math concepts for sales transactions is a plus

Pay: $700.00 - $1,800.00 per week
