Responsibilities

• Provide a wide range of nail services including manicures, pedicures, gel nails, acrylics, and nail art with precision and care
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and hygiene in accordance with health regulations to ensure client safety
• Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable nail treatments or enhancements
• Stay current with the latest trends in nail design, color theory, and techniques to offer innovative services
• Upsell retail products such as nail care items, polishes, and skincare products to enhance client satisfaction and business growth
• Assist with maintaining a clean and organized work station, including sterilization of tools and equipment
• Communicate effectively with clients to ensure a positive experience and foster repeat business

Qualifications

• Valid cosmetology or esthetician license with certification in nail care required
• Demonstrated knowledge of sanitation procedures and safety standards in a salon setting
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with diverse clients
• Proficiency in nail care techniques including gel application, acrylics, and nail art design
• Familiarity with color theory for creating appealing designs and matching client preferences
• Experience with hair extensions, eyelash extensions, body waxing, hair styling or barbering is a plus but not required
• Ability to upsell retail products confidently while maintaining excellent communication skills
• Knowledge of retail math for effective sales transactions and inventory management
