Nanny

Job Description:

We are a busy family seeking a dependable, confident, and capable full-time nanny / household assistant to help support our home and supervise our children while both parents work from home. Our children range in age from 7 to 15 years old.

This role requires a strong, steady presence—someone who is comfortable providing structure, maintaining expectations, and helping children remain accountable to their daily responsibilities. Providing home support for the younger children will be an essential part of this position, including helping them stay on task with homeschool assignments, follow their schedules, and maintain productive routines. Curriculum development is not required; the focus is on supervision, accountability, and consistency. This position is ideal for someone who is naturally organized, confident in their leadership, and able to manage a busy household environment calmly and effectively.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Supervising children and ensuring they remain on task with homeschool assignments, responsibilities, and daily routines

• Providing consistent structure, accountability, and guidance throughout the day

• Supporting younger children with homeschool follow-through and maintaining focus

• Assisting with household upkeep, including laundry, light housekeeping, and maintaining organization in common areas

• Helping maintain an orderly, calm, and functional home environment

• Taking initiative to support the overall flow and efficiency of the household

• Communicating professionally and clearly with parents

Ideal Candidate:

• Confident, mature, and comfortable providing firm but respectful guidance

• Naturally organized, proactive, and self-directed

• Able to follow through on expectations and maintain consistency

• Calm, steady, and dependable in a busy household

• Comfortable working in a home where parents are present but occupied with work

• Prior experience as a nanny, household assistant, teacher, homeschool support, or similar leadership role strongly preferred

• Someone who values structure, reliability, and professionalism

Requirements:

• Reliable transportation

• Non-smoker

• Able to pass a background check

• References required

• Prior childcare, household support, or related experience preferred
