Nanny / Household Support (Guaranteed Hours + Overnights)
East Longmeadow, Massachusetts (Springfield area)

$22–$28/hour + mileage reimbursement + opportunity for stipends

Schedule & Compensation
Guaranteed Weekly Split Schedule (30 hours)
Monday–Friday:
7:00 AM – 9:00 AM
3:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Additional Compensation Opportunities/As needed (2 weeks/month)
On-Call Coverage Stipend (Tuesdays & Thursdays, 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM):
$100 per day for Household Support:
Children will be at School or Summer Camp during this time but on call is to immediately step in if a child gets sick, hurt, etc.
While on-call during day, expectation is to complete various household chores related to the boys for example: Laundry, light house work, maintain clean kitchen and bathrooms, strip boys’ beds and re-make, meal prep, grocery shop, clothe shopping, errands, etc.
Overnight Care Stipend (Tuesdays & Thursdays):
$100 per overnight

A professional parent is seeking a reliable, warm, highly organized, and emotionally attuned nanny to care for her 8-year-old twin boys.This position is ideal for an experienced nanny or OT/PT/Pre-Med/education/psychology student, seeking meaningful work with stability and loving family.
About the Children
Twin boys (age 8) — bright, engaging, and active
One child has Level 2 Autism and benefits from patient, supportive guidance with emotional and sensory regulation and transitions.
The other child is thoughtful and sensitive, with occasional anxiety/crying when overwhelmed or during transitions
The home environment is structured, calm, and health-conscious (e.g., handwashing, no shoes indoors). There is no TV in the home.

Important Note:
During on-call days, need to access children within 10 minutes or less
Travel schedules and overnight needs are provided at least two weeks in advance
Stipends typically apply to ~2 weeks per month when the parent travels
Additional hours may be available in Fall 2026
The nanny will collaborate with another nanny based on scheduling needs
Childcare
Manage daily routines (morning prep, after-school, bedtime)
School drop-off and pick-up
Prepare meals and snacks
Support emotional regulation and transitions
Engage in age-appropriate activities and reading
Transport to activities as needed
Communication (Highly Important)
Provide consistent, proactive updates throughout each shift
Send at least 2 check-ins (text/photo/video) daily
Communicate clearly about moods, activities, and any concerns
This is especially important as the parent transitions from a work-from-home environment
Child-Related Household Support
Kitchen clean-up after meals
Dishwasher loading/unloading
Light tidying (bedrooms, play areas, kitchen)
Children’s laundry
Trash/recycling
Occasional errands (groceries, library, etc.)
Requirements
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle
Comfortable driving children (booster seats provided)
Non-smoker
Able to pass background, driving, and reference checks
Confident working independently and managing routines
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with neurodiverse or special needs children
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
Experience supporting emotional regulation and behavioral needs
Comfortable coordinating care (e.g., medical appointments if needed)
Willingness to collaborate with therapists, educators, and another nanny
experienced nanny or OT/PT/Pre-Med/education/psychology student
Occasional ability to travel (~200 miles roundtrip in a day) to medical appointments primarily in Boston (mileage reimbursed)
