Nanny/Family Assistant for Two Children

Family in Newtown, PA looking for a part-time long term, live-out Nanny/Family Assistant for 2 children ages 10 years and 9 years.

Pay is $30-$35 per hour DOE paid on the books with paid holidays, vacation, sick days and mileage reimbursement

Starts ASAP no later than 4/6

Days/Hours:

Monday 2pm-7pm

Tuesday 2pm-7pm

Wednesday 2pm-7pm

Thursday 2pm-7pm

Friday 2pm-7pm

Hours are flexible and family is open to a schedule that includes a split shift morning and afternoon schedule for those interested in that.

Duties include:

• Children's meal and snack prep
• Family meal prep
• Children and family dishes
• Educational activities
• Driving to activities and appointments
• Errands
• Grocery shopping
• Light housekeeping and deep housekeeping

Family’s ideal candidate:

Seeking a nanny/family assistant with at least a couple to a few years experience with age range of the children and household/family assistant duties. Someone who is loving, energetic, engaging and enjoys spending time with children. VERY important for someone to be self-motivated and proactive - able to get the job done with minimal help/direction. Someone who is organized and able to offer solutions to create an organized household environment and help to maintain it. Someone who is also interested in occasionally staying with the children and pets when parents are away for extra compensation. CPR/First Aid certified.
