Description
:

  • Includes all Title Specialist I responsibilities Plus:
  • Utilize understanding of title underwriting standards and guidelines to determine condition of title, and insurability while analyzing risk and liability
  • Responsible for recognizing title defects and formulating curative solutions.
  • Prepare foreclosure documents including Motions, Orders, Affidavits, and curative counts for foreclosure complaints.
  • Perform curative actions to include reviewing tax statements, requesting payoffs, reviewing foreclosure documents, mobile home issues, chain of title issues and the necessary curative measures to resolve.
  • Identifying and working the Title Claim process.


Requirements
:

  • In depth knowledge of foreclosure and real estate transactions in multiple states.
  • Ability to research in county websites and Datatrace
  • 5+ years general title experience required
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, and internal personal skills
  • PC proficiency in Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer; Experience working in client systems: BKFS/LoanSphere, Lenstar, Vendorscape, and Tempo
  • Ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to work both independently and contribute in every aspect to a team environment.
